Pre Sales Engineering Lead - Singapore or Kuala Lumpur

As a Greenbird Lead Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical sales cycles to ensure customer success and support our revenue goals derived from the software and solutions.

This role is critically important to the Greenbird growth plans as we establish our business in the AsiaPac region and applicants should have the necessary experience..

Responsibilities

You will become a trusted advisor within each of the priority accounts by understanding the customer's high level business challenges, matching Greenbird’s solutions to business and technical requirements and presenting Greenbird’s vision, strategy and product roadmaps to executives and technical management.  Working closely with the Regional Business Development leader you will form the foundation of our field technical operations.

In addition, you will:

  • Define and implement an architectural solution oriented go-to-market strategy for each priority account to ensure technical adoption of Greenbird solutions
  • Sell professional services packages consistently as part of our total solution
  • Build and use strong partner relationships
  • Identify new customer projects for Greenbird solutions
  • Drive the adoption of Greenbird solutions within strategic accounts moving current PoC and pilot usage to grow across the enterprise
  • Eventually identify ands recruit sales engineers

Requirements needed for the role

  • Proven 5 years plus experience working as a pre-sales, systems or customer-facing technical sales resource.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with and motivate multiple groups toward accomplishing a task.
  • Enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic personality
  • Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions to make it better
  • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of Energy, Utilities and potentially IoT systems is useful
  • Effective in working both independently and in a team setting (often remote)
  • Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to resolve those challenges
  • Experience with enterprise applications, security or systems management a plus
