About position

Open Source Software Developers required for pivotal role within a leading IT integration solution software house. The successful candidate will have extensive programming skills, and if you have been in utilities, financial or telecommunications environment, this will be highly desirable, but by no means essential. You will be part of our development team and work in some of the most challenging projects across the globe.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be

  • Designing distributed solutions with JVM based programming languages on containerized platforms
  • Implement and build the designed solutions for our customers
  • Be part of a highly skilled team of both backend, frontend and fullstack developers
  • Delivery of reliable services to our valued customers

Essential skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or similar technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong programming skills within the Java programming language and related frameworks
  • Experience with agile development methodology and test-driven development

Desirable skills

  • Experience developing highly scalable and robust backend services in a cloud environment
  • Familiar with Git, Confluence, Jira, Nexus, Maven, NPM, Concourse, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment systems
  • Experience within Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Jetty, Jersey, REST, Web Services, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Docker
