Greenbird is a leading smart meter software vendor and solutions company headquartered in Oslo providing the digital integration hub, Utilihive. Utilihive is a cloud-native big data integration platform, purpose-built for the digital data-driven utility, offered as a managed service.

Greenbird delivers Utilihive to customers across the globe and are now looking for a Head of Finance & Business Controls to enable the growth and scale we envision.

Reporting to

Chief Operating Officer

In this role, your main responsibilities will be

  • Establish routines for both business and financial planning and reporting
  • Oversee business cases and ensure profitability in all aspects of Greenbird’s business
  • Risk assessment and contract review
  • Implement audit measures to ensure the correctness in billing and pricing
  • Provide input to pricing models and strategic pricing
  • Be an active team member in bids to ensure that strategic goals can achieved
  • Support any funding/investment initiatives with business cases, P&L´s, prognosis, risks etc
  • Establish and monitor key metrics for both operations and business
  • Be overall responsible for our data privacy & security policies and procedures

Essential skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economy or similar field
  • Self-going, structured and diligent attitude
  • Excellent understanding of SaaS-business models and pricing
  • At least 5 years of experience from comparable roles
  • Proven track record of growing and expanding SaaS-business.
  • Good understanding of GDPR and ISO27001
