Andrew Lund
Andrew Lund joins us as our Chief Revenue Officer. He brings with him a wealth of experience from over 15 years of international experience in leading sales teams to sell software as a service. He has previously worked for Google Cloud and Microsoft.
Andrew will be responsible for the achievement of Greenbird’s revenue targets as well as the day-to-day leadership of sales, channel partner engagement and marketing presence.
He has hit the ground running, supporting the team at Middle East Electricity Dubai and more recently joining Thorsten at the Free Electrons energy accelerator program in Lisbon and Australia.
Carey Jack
Carey Jack is a 20-year software platform veteran who has worked in senior-level sales management positions for organizations in Hong Kong, London and Sydney. He has been appointed Greenbird’s Regional Business Development Lead and will be based in Hong Kong.
Commenting on his new role, Carey said,
“I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned to this new role in the region,” He added, “Greenbird’s presence in the Asia Pacific region will provide a tremendous opportunity for further growth as the need for digital innovation increases as a result of smart meter rollouts and increased use of IoT.”

Frederik ten Sythoff
Frederik joins us as Market Engagement Director. He has had more than thirteen years of marketing experience in a range of business areas, including smart energy, smart metering and smart grids.
In his Market Engagement role, Frederik will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies supporting the Metercloud platform across multiple sectors, including multi-utilities and growing smart city initiatives globally.
Frederik’s focus will be on Greenbird’s clients and channel partners. He will be working towards a greater understanding of their needs so that Greenbird can anticipate how best to help them. He’s looking forward to helping the company achieve its ambition of making data fly!
Mei Yang
Mei Yang joins our development team. She says that one of the things that made her want to join the Greenbird team was their enthusiasm. Mei Yang’s enthusiasm together with her skill set has made her a great addition to the team. Mei tells us that the best thing about working at Greenbird is the work-culture and the people; she’s finding her new co-workers ‘passionate, professional, co-operative and trustworthy’.
We also love to see how happy coding seems to make her – we have plenty for her to work on!
Sergei Kosolapov
Sergei also joins our development team. Sergei’s main motivation for joining Greenbird was what he perceived as our innovative approach to implementing many new open-source technologies. He also likes where the Greenbird office is located! We were pleased when he told us that he’s finding his work interesting. He describes his new co-workers as ‘professional, passionate and kind … and funny.’
